Patrick Lavan Mahomes II (born September 17, 1995) is an American football quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). The son of former Major League Baseball (MLB) pitcher Pat Mahomes, he initially played college football and college baseball at Texas Tech University. After his sophomore year, he left baseball to focus entirely on football. In his junior year, he led all NCAA Division I FBS players in multiple categories, including passing yards (5,052) and total touchdowns (53). He was selected 10th overall by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2017 NFL Draft.

To say that Monday night’s matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Las Vegas Raiders was intense would be an understatement. The Chiefs came back from heavy losses to avoid an epic contest with a 30–29 victory.
Mahomes was shouting “I’m here” to an opponent, which may have been some sort of invitation for said player to come and visit Mahomes. However, the invitation was clearly not favourable. The Raiders player, whose identity remains unknown at this time, may have something to say in Mahomes’ direction, and the Chiefs quarterback made sure he clapped back. Kansas City coach Andy Reid also had to pull back his star QB during the heat of the moment.
However, nothing happened after this intense “confrontation”, and the game continued without incident. Mahomes was an absolute stud in this, completing 29 of 43 passes for four 292 yards and four touchdowns—all courtesy of Travis Kells.
After going down 17-0 in the second quarter, Mahomes & Company made a comeback. The Raiders went for one final push, but they came up short against a relentless Kansas City side.
Mahomes now leads the league with 15 touchdown passes. He tests his worth against the second-highest-scoring quarterback in the NFL at Josh Allen in Week 6, as the Chiefs host the Buffalo Bills in what should be quite a encounter.

While we can’t prove that Mahomes doesn’t have diabetes, we’d be surprised if he does. For starters, pro athletes constantly monitor their weight gain and loss. That’s how quarterback Jay Cutler discovered he was a type 1 diabetic, as reported by One Drop.
We don’t think Mahomes is hiding his diagnosis of diabetes. Elite quarterbacks are public figures. In such a situation, it will be very difficult to hide this disease in the limelight. Additionally, Mahomes’ charity work has fought, at least to some extent, against the stigma of such diseases.
