Pablo Andújar started as a professional back in 2003, however, it wasn’t until 2008 when he made his appearance at a Grand Slam event at the French Open where he got through as a lucky loser to the Round of 64. On the 25th of August 2008, he had entered the 100 ranked players by climbing to 88th rank.

In 2011 Andujar’s successes started piling when he claimed his first ATP title at the Grand Prix Hassan II tournament in Morocco, a win that saw him enter the top 50 cut reaching rank 48 by April 25, 2011.

He had three right elbow surgeries, one in March 2016, the other in August 2016 and the last in April the following year, and somehow came back stunningly. He won his 1st ATP trophy ranked as world no 355 and was able to reach the second week of a major in US Open 2019.

In Geneva, he managed to shock Roger Federer in one of his career highlights and reached the semifinals of the tournament in 2021.
