Nabil Mlika mentored Jabeur as a youngster till she was thirteen years old.
In February 2018, Jabeur and Bertrand Perret started collaborating.
She felt that Perret supported her playing style more than her previous coaches, adding, “I believe he is aware of my strategy.
He works to make my good shots even better, not to alter my behaviour.
I’ve worked with numerous coaches who have attempted to alter my game.
Instead of other trainers who urged me not to perform dropshots at all, Bertrand pushes me to take dropshots and also corrects my dropshots.”
Issam Jellali, a former Tunisian Davis Cup player, became Jabeur’s new coach in the beginning of 2020 after she had previously worked with him for almost three years.
