Oldham Athletic Association Football Club is a professional football club in Oldham, Lancashire, England, which competes in the National League, the fifth tier of the English football league system. Oldham Athletic have confirmed the sale of the football club to local businessman Frank Rothwell. The Lancashire-based club confirmed in June that they had reached an agreement with an unnamed individual to take control of the company.
