Injury update
Jalen Brunson was able to return to the field for the Knicks after suffering a worrisome injury Wednesday night, but incredibly important OG Anunoby was not.
Anunoby was enjoying the best offensive game of his postseason career with 28 points and four made 3-pointers when he limped to the locker room with what the team said was left hamstring soreness during a 3-pointer in the third quarter. :27 left. ‘ 130-121 win over the Pacers in Game 2.
The two-way wing appeared to catch the back of his leg after missing a shot several seconds earlier.
“I’m not sure [his condition]. I haven’t talked to medical yet,” Tom Thibodeau said after the game. “I thought he was over-aggressive. I thought, he took the game with his defensive activity. Played really well at the end of the 1st.
