How many national titles did Nick Saban win with the LSU Tigers?
Prior to coaching in Alabama and his messy stint in the NFL, Saban was leading the LSU Tigers. From 2000 to 2004, Saban coached at Baton Rouge. While with LSU, Saban won a national title in 2003 (his only championship with LSU) as the Tigers defeated the Oklahoma Sooners in the BCS Championship Game.

How many national titles has Nick Saban won as head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide?
While he won only one national title during his relatively short tenure with LSU, Saban has won several with Alabama. His first with Alabama (and second overall) came in 2009, his third year in Tuscaloosa. The Crimson Tide went perfect 14–0 and made their way to victory at the Rose Bowl as part of BCS.

Two years later, in 2011, Saban won his second position as head coach of the Crimson Tide when Alabama defeated LSU in New Orleans in a game that was a rematch of a regular season fling. In 2012, the Crimson Tide dismantled Notre Dame Fighting Irish to claim their third championship (their fourth overall) with Saban.

It took a few seasons for him to earn another title, but Saban won his fifth overall championship and fourth with Alabama when the Crimson Tide defeated the Clemson Tigers and won the college football playoffs in 2015. Saban’s sixth overall championship came in 2017 when he returned to defeat Alabama Horseman Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs.
