This week, Alabama DB Josh Battle gleefully shared that Nick Saban often makes “deez” jokes in practice.

Nick Saban’s sense of humor is going viral once again. Saban’s tendency to drop “deez nuts” humor is alive and well, thanks to Alabama’s Jordan Battle and Ole Miss coach Len Kiffin for offering references this week.

Now it has reached that level that comedian Joey Mulinaro has joined the fun with his latest hilarious parody of Saban.

“I guess my first question would be, why is everyone in the mood for a joke,” Mulinaro said. “Well, we’ve only played 2 good quarters of football through 2 matches. We came home against Mercer last week, and we got 3 more outs on our first drive, and everyone comes here and this week has one Comedian’s laughing about coach, deez nuts, suck on deez. The only thing you’re going to suck on is the wind, when I’m going to drive your ass crazy this week, okay. Now we go to Florida Hey, you wanna talk about nuts, they’re gonna drop their nuts straight at you

Nick Saban, his wife Terri, and Miami Dolphins Hall of Famer Jason Taylor are special speakers in the trailer.

Trailer shows clip of Saban in his time as Cleveland Browns defensive coordinator, speaking with Bill Belichick for HBO’s documentary ‘Belichick’

After playing a defensive role at Kent State from 1970–1972, Nick Saban began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Kent State from 1973–1974. Over the next nine years, Saban held linebacker and defensive back position coaching titles at Kent State, Syracuse, West Virginia, Ohio State, and the Navy. From 1983–1987, Saban served as the defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach at Michigan State. Saban made the jump to the NFL in 1988, serving as a defensive back coach for the Houston Oilers for two seasons.

Head If you don’t get your head off your ass and get ready to prepare this week, that’s fine.”

Now all we need is for Saban to respond with his comments.

Mercer

Look, it was a good win. Proud of our players for the way they played for a while. We might not have played to the standard that we like to play for. I mean what we’re really trying to do is create the kind of habits that create consistency in performance so that you can let the performance stack up and get better and better and better.

“I think some people did it today, and I think some people probably didn’t. I think it’s probably due to how you prepare, how you practice, the things you do because when You create habits, then you play fast, practice fast, you play fast and good things happen.

Jokes

Besides winning, there are few things in the life of Alabama football head coach Nick Saban more enjoyed than “deez nuts” jokes.

Deez jokes are top tier for her, with Little Debbie Oatmeal Cream Pie, Alabama after her win with Miss Terry cranking some “Gimme Shelter” in the car and not letting her assistant coaches speak on the podium.

Conversely, he may regret letting security Jordan Battle do some talking this week.

Alabama is either going to unleash all hell on Florida Saturday, or Crimson Tide is in trouble.

It’s always good to see that SEC football coaches have a sense of humour, intentional or not. In a league that gives us Kiffin, Mike Leach, Dan Mullen and Ed Orgeron soundbites, how could we ever be so lucky? Ultimately, we have to give Battle credit for making the most of our time on the podium representing Crimson Tide.
