Nicholas Hilmy Kyrgios (born 27 April 1995) is an Australian professional tennis player. In singles, Kyrgios’ career-high ATP singles ranking of world number 13 was achieved on 24 October 2016. He has won seven ATP Tour singles titles, including the 2019 and 2022 Washington Opens, and reached eleven finals, most notably a major final at the 2022 Wimbledon Championships and a Masters 1000 final at the 2017 Cincinnati Masters.

In doubles, Kyrgios has a career-high ranking of world number 18, achieved on 22 August 2022, winning a major doubles title at the 2022 Australian Open and reaching the semi-finals of the Miami Open, both times partnering Thanasi Kokinakis. Of. In his junior career, Kyrgios won the singles event at the 2013 Australian Open and the doubles events at the 2012 French Open, 2012 Wimbledon and 2013 Wimbledon Championships. Nick Kyrgios has been fined US$7,500 (AU$11,000) for non-sporting conduct after swearing and spitting on court at the US Open on Wednesday.
The Australian star advanced to the third round in New York with a 7-6 (7-3) 6-4 4-6 6-4 win over Benjamin Bonzi.
Kyrgios, however, cut off the disappointed man as Bonzi made a comeback into the match and made an explosive attack on his player’s box in the third set.
The Aussie can be seen spitting towards his crew – including girlfriend Kostin Hatzi – before shouting: “Go home if you’re not going to support me.”
US Open officials announced on Thursday that Kyrgios was fined $7,500 for his actions – the biggest ever at a Grand Slam.

Kyrgios will play Wolf in the third round of the US Open with an estimated time of 10:15 a.m. (AEST) on September 3.
The Australian is still alive in the men’s doubles with Thanasi Kokinakis and will play in the second round on 4 September against Andre Goranson and Yoshihito Nishioka.
