Last year, the Giants played on “Monday Night Football” and lost in a close match against the Super Bowl champions. Could history repeat itself in Week 8 of the 2021 NFL season?

The Giants are playing Monday night once again and will face one of the Precision Super Bowl favorites. However, his season has not gone according to plan.

The home team has made just 3-4 records despite making it to the 2021 Super Bowl and falling at the hands of the Bucs. If you want to get back in the race for the playoffs, they have a chance to do so.

The Chiefs will have the advantage of playing in front of their home crowd, but they end up in an embarrassing 27-3 loss against the Titans. The team led by Patrick Mahomes had the fewest points in his NFL career, so the Chiefs have some major improvements they need to make.

His game against the Giants would represent his first chance of a comeback. track again.

The chiefs, in general, have struggled with turnover and this has hindered their usually powerful offense. they will need to be more.

Standings

1 seed in the AFC playoff race as Week 8 of the 2021 NFL season ends. Tea

The conference has four teams with just two defeats, followed by several other franchises.

The New England Patriots saw the end of their historic 11-year postseason appearance last season, but they have a lot more in the mix this year thanks to a 27-24 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.

New England is only half a game behind both the Chargers and Pittsburgh Steelers for the wild card spot, and a full game behind the Cincinnati Bengals for the No. 5 seed.

One upcoming Patriots game that could play a big factor in the race for the playoffs is Week 10’s matchup with the Cleveland Browns at Gillette Stadium. The Browns lost to the Steelers on Sunday – their third loss in the last four games. A win against the Browns in week two would give the Patriots a huge head-to-head tiebreaker advantage over Cleveland.

The Patriots still have three games left against AFC teams ahead of them in the standings. Two of them are against divisional rivals Buffalo Bills (Weeks 13 and 16), and the other is at home versus the Tennessee Titans in Week 12.

News and rumors

The NFL isn’t usually known for its trades, but that will probably change before the 2021 NFL trade deadline. Once 4 p.m. ET passes, NFL teams will no longer be allowed to trade, so teams that wish to add or subtract from their squads will make a final attempt to agree deals before time runs out.

In previous years, the deadline was not much. However, this year, we have already seen some big trades. Zach Ertz was sent off as a rookie cornerback to the Cardinals and a fifth-round pick in mid-October. Then, a day before the deadline, the Rams and the Broncos agreed to a blockbuster business to send longtime Denver pass rusher Von Miller to Los Angeles.

Will we see another big name change on Tuesday? Probably not, but there are still a lot of playwrights whose names are in the headlines.
