The highly anticipated release date of NBA 2K23 has been officially confirmed as September 9, 2022. The news comes that we’re just starting Season 8 of 2K22, though many hardcore fans are already reaching for Legend status in the MyCareer and MyTeam ‘End Game’ packs. , it’s safe to say the sun is setting at 2K22. Michael Jordan has been revealed as the cover athlete for their special edition versions of the game that come with extra features – such as a 12-month subscription to NBA League Pass. Devin Booker is yet to be confirmed as the cover athlete for Standard Edition, as multiple sources are reporting. Two WNBA players are also rumored to be offered as cover options. The makers of the popular video game NBA 2K announced that Michael Jordan will be one of the featured cover athletes for NBA 2K23.
Two special editions of the game will be released to honor Jordan and his achievements on the court. Devin Booker will grace the cover of the game, as will two WNBA Superstars.
The company announced that it is proud to celebrate MJ, saying: “While honoring the impact Jordan has made for basketball on a global scale, NBA 2K is reimagining one of the most sensational times. I’m excited to be able to perform on the virtual court some of Jordan’s greatest moves in NBA history.”
New features
NBA 2K23 being cross platform/cross play has to be determined.

If 2K Sports keeps up with the past, MyCAREER’s progression from NBA 2K22 to NBA 2K23 will not happen. Although we expect the VC earned between the current-gen and next-gen version of the same console to be transferred to NBA 2K22.

The NBA 2K demo typically comes one to two weeks before the game’s official launch, although there was no demo for NBA 2K22. Check out the NBA 2K23 demo in late August, if any.

Pre-orders for all NBA 2K23 platforms will go live on July 7, 2022. This will be when the final cover for the game is revealed. We don’t know when they’ll actually go live on July 7.
