During a violent altercation in New Orleans, Nate Diaz was captured on video putting a man in a chokehold, causing him to lose consciousness. Diaz had traveled to the city to support his teammate, Chris Avila, who was fighting in a boxing match at the XULA Convention Center. Diaz had previously gained attention for throwing a bottle at Chase DeMoor, a reality TV personality from Netflix’s Too Hot To Handle and Perfect Match, during the event. DeMoor was later disqualified from his fight against Stevie Knight after instigating a fight in the ring. The confrontation with Diaz appeared to have spilled outside the venue, resulting in the recorded incident.

On a live stream with Adin Ross, UFC president Dana White was observed responding to the video.

Once again, Nate Diaz demonstrated his aptitude for brawling in public, as he did on Friday in New Orleans. Diaz created a physical altercation by throwing a water bottle at Chase DeMoor, a star of the Netflix reality series, during a Misfits Boxing event, where Diaz was supporting his teammate, Chris Avila. Furthermore, in a separate video posted online, Diaz can be seen applying a guillotine chokehold on an individual, rendering him unconscious during a brawl on the streets of New Orleans after the event. Although the cause of the altercation is unknown, the footage captured its conclusion, at least for one person. The video was shared by social media and YouTube influencer JiDion, who tweeted, “Broooo I’m f*cked up and Nate Diez [sic] choked out my homie.”
