Joey Logano wins 2022 Bush Light Clash at the Coliseum (February 6) NASCAR Race Recap: Joey Logano wins the NASCAR Bush Light clash at the Coliseum on Sunday evening after passing Kyle Bush late in the race. The race did not count towards the regular season and served only as an exhibition event.

The 31-year-old driver led 35 laps in the 150-lap race and won his qualifying heat on the day. Logano is the first driver to win in the newly established Busch Light Clash which could be a recurring theme every season.

NASCAR is back! The 2022 regular season doesn’t start for two more weeks but we’ve got an exhibition race at the LA Coliseum to prepare. The Bush Light Clash usually takes place in Daytona, but this year, NASCAR has moved it to the Southern California Football Stadium.
The race is scheduled for Sunday evening, but the day before we begin the three-part qualifying process. The first stage is single-car qualifying on Saturday night to determine the starting lineup for the four qualifying heats to be held on Sunday.

Saturday’s single-car qualifying gets underway at 8:30 p.m. Will air on ET and FS1. We will provide updates during the qualifying rounds until we have four starting grids. fastest driver claims pole.

NASCAR is set to take on the 1/4-mile Los Angeles Coliseum. Tonight, they will go through a round of single car qualifying to set up the starting lineup. This qualifying session is used to set up the heat race for tomorrow. Only 4 drivers from each heat race will move to the main event, it is going to be important where they start in the low heat race. Group A has 18 cars as the field is divided in half between the two groups.

Kurt Busch is the first car on the track and he turns 14.437. This is much slower than the earlier exercise. The track is dirty and the tires are cold.

Chase Brisco is the 14th car on the track. He is shifting in both corners, he is the first car to do so but he is 7th on the board.

The green signal for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series playoff race at Martinsville Speedway’s 0.526-mile short track is set to drop at 2. :12 a.m. ET Sunday. The track has lights, so delays could result in the race ending after sunset.

Martinsville lineup: starting order, pole without qualification

Weather conditions should ensure a timely start. The National Weather Service forecast for Ridgeway, VA, where Martinsville Speedway is located, for mostly sunny skies and high temperatures near 65 degrees. However, winds can go up to 20 mph.
