Doping
Chelsea’s Mykhailo Mudryk has been provisionally suspended from football after the Football Association notified him that he had tested positive for drugs use.
The winger did not play any games for the past five fixtures. Chelsea’s manager, Enzo Maresca, explained Mudryk’s absence by saying he was ill.

The Ukraine international is now eager to see whether the finding of a B sample will corroborate the first result.
A spokesperson said: “Mykhailo Mudryk of Chelsea Football Club was recently questioned by the Football Association on an issue arising out of a urine sample which was provided for testing purposes.”
“It is there for everyone to see that the club and Mykhailo are supportive of the FA’s testing programme and all our players, including Mykhailo, are tested regularly. Mykhailo has to put on record that he has never taken prohibited drugs and substances intentionally”.
