Minji Lee (born 27 May 1996) is an Australian professional golfer from Perth. She became the number one ranked amateur golfer after winning the Oates Victorian Open in February 2014, remaining number one until turning professional in September 2014. On 25 July 2021, Lee won his first major championship, the Amundi Evian Championship. On 5 June 2022, he won his second major championship, the U.S. Won the Women’s Open. As of 30 May 2022, Lee was the fourth-ranked female golfer in the world.

World ranking
Australian Minjie Lee this week jumped to fourth in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings, her highest world ranking since mid-2019. Her final round 63 at last week’s HSBC Women’s World Championships leveled at the bottom of her career and placed a clean bow at the start of the 2022 LPGA Tour season.
“Having such a short round on Sunday was a confidence booster for the rest of the season,” Lee said ahead of his sixth appearance at the Honda LPGA Thailand. “I think this week I can be a little more aggressive and just trust that I’ve done all my work and just play my game.”
Lee secured his first major title at the 2021 Amundi Evian Championships and has been moving upwards from there, finishing no worse than 25th in his last six matches. He has spent his extended break since November’s CME Group Tour Championships in Australia, focusing on little improvement in his already stellar game.
