Miles Emmanuel Bridges Sr. (born March 21, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for the Charlotte Hornets of the National Basketball Association (NBA), who is also an occasional rapper. He played college basketball for the Michigan State Spartans. A native of Flint, Michigan, he competed for Flint Southwestern Academy (freshman season) at the high school level before moving on to Huntington Prep School for his sophomore, junior and senior year. Bridges was selected 12th overall by the Los Angeles Clippers in the 2018 NBA Draft, but was traded to the Hornets on draft night.

Max contract
After a four-year slump in Bridges’ camp, a $60 million contract offer arrived last fall, sources confirmed, adding he is expected to command a maximum salary that could total five years, $173 million, this summer. League personnel believe the Hornets will match any offer sheet for Bridge. This could prevent either teams from making a serious attempt to sign unnecessarily tied hands for 48 hours. Or it could encourage a rival boyfriend to force Charlotte to pay her full maximum, as the Brooklyn Nets once did to Washington and Otto Porter.
Domestic violence
NBA star Miles Bridges was arrested Wednesday in Los Angeles on domestic violence charges, TMZ Sports has learned.
The 24-year-old forward – who most recently played for the Charlotte Hornets – found himself in a local jail in connection with an alleged physical altercation that occurred on Tuesday.
Law enforcement sources tell us that a woman claims she was in an argument with Bridges that turned into a physical one. We are told that the police were called to the scene, but by the time the police arrived, the bridge was gone. We have been told that the woman needs medical attention.
The 6’7″, 225-pounder was arrested by the LAPD after turning himself in on Wednesday afternoon. His bail was set at $130k … and has since been released.
Bridges – who is also a rapper by the name of RTB MB – spent his first four seasons with the Hornets.
