Miles Emmanuel Bridges Sr. (born March 21, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for the Charlotte Hornets of the National Basketball Association (NBA), who is also an occasional rapper. He played college basketball for the Michigan State Spartans. A native of Flint, Michigan, he competed for Flint Southwestern Academy (freshman season) at the high school level before moving on to Huntington Prep School for his sophomore, junior and senior year. Bridges was selected 12th overall by the Los Angeles Clippers in the 2018 NBA Draft, but was traded to the Hornets on draft night.

Arrested
NBA star Miles Bridges was arrested Wednesday in Los Angeles on domestic violence charges, TMZ Sports has learned.
The 24-year-old forward – who most recently played for the Charlotte Hornets – found himself in a local jail in connection with an alleged physical altercation that occurred on Tuesday.
Law enforcement sources tell us that a woman claims she was in an argument with Bridges that turned into a physical one. We are told that the police were called to the scene, but by the time the police arrived, the bridge was gone. We have been told that the woman needs medical attention.
The 6’7″, 225-pounder was arrested by the LAPD after turning himself in on Wednesday afternoon. His bail was set at $130k … and has since been released.

His name also went viral in recent hours, but he made a big mistake not for what he did, but for his wife. Things are going pretty fast at Bridges House after Miles’s wife, Michael Johnson, accidentally posted a nude photo on her Instagram stories. The picture shows Johnson bending over, taking a mirror selfie.
Although she quickly deleted the post, the internet never lost sight of and people saved the photo and shared it with the rest of the world.
Arrest
The LAPD did not release details on the allegations. TMZ has reported that Bridges is facing charges of domestic violence.
“The Charlotte Hornets are aware of the situation at Miles Bridge,” the team said in a statement on Thursday. “We are in the process of collecting additional information. We will have no further comment at this time.”
Bridges, the Hornets’ leading scorer last season, is set to become a banned free agent and could command a maximum contract in the coming weeks. The news comes on the eve of NBA free agency, which begins Thursday nights in which teams can talk with free agents.
Bridges, 24, averaged a career-high 20.2 points and 7.0 rebounds last season in what was a breakout season for the four-year NBA veteran while playing alongside All-Star point guard LaMelo Ball.
