Despite his age, Zimmer has been able to adapt to the developments of the NFL during his coaching career and that is why he remained in the league for so long.
As most people know, the older someone gets, the more their health tends to go downhill. Other than a scare with his eyes closed in 2016, Zimmer’s health didn’t really play a factor during his time as Minnesota head coach.
