A woman has sued former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson, accusing him of raping her after they met in an Albany, New York, nightclub in the early 1990s.
The woman, who is suing for $5 million, said Tyson raped her in a limousine and that she has suffered from “physical, psychological and emotional injuries” in the years since.
The woman’s affidavit does not provide a date for the attack, but only says it occurred in the early 1990s – around the same time that beauty pageant contestant Desiree Washington said Tyson assaulted her in Indianapolis. Was raped. Tyson was convicted of rape in Washington on February 10, 1992, and sentenced to three years in prison.
