Training

Mike Tyson

Bulls are trained by a technique known as’mann kuthal,’ in which bulls hone their talents by digging their horns into the damp earth. Nivathan, a bull trainer, and his family have been raising five Jallikattu bulls for the festival.

Jallikattu (or sallikkattu) is a traditional event in which a bull (Bos indicus), such as the Pulikulam or Kangayam breeds, is released into a mob of people and numerous human players attempt to grip the big hump on the bull’s back with both arms.

Weight

On average, adult bulls weigh between 1,100 and 2,200 pounds (498 to 997 kg). A bull can weigh more than 3,500 pounds in certain circumstances (1,587 kg).

Net Worth

Mike Tyson

The Bulls are the fourth most valuable NBA club, valued at $3.65 billion. Every year, Forbes releases a list of the most valuable NBA teams.

Scottie Pippen is not bankrupt, but a federal judge has ruled that he cannot sue anyone who claims he is. Pippen claims he’s never been worth less than $40 million in the last ten years as proof he’s never gone bankrupt. Pippen demanded $1 million from every news outlet that reported on his financial woes.

Record

Early Friday, the highest-graded ticket stub from Michael Jordan’s NBA debut sold for $264,000, shattering the previous record for most expensive ticket stub.

The Bulls set an NBA record by winning 72 games in the 1995–96 season, which lasted until the Golden State Warriors won 73 games in the 2015–16 season.
