Michael Gerard Tyson (born June 30, 1966) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1985 to 2005. The death of Mike Tyson’s four-year-old daughter Exodus was a terrible and regrettable accident.
According to reports, Exodus Tyson was found at his home in Phoenix, Arizona by his seven-year-old brother with a cable from a treadmill machine tangled around his neck. The young boy alerted his mother, who tried to give Exodus CPR and called 911.
Exodus was immediately taken to the hospital and put on life support. Mike Tyson, who was 42 at the time, was in Las Vegas when the accident happened. On hearing the news, he left for Phoenix.
Exodus Tyson died on 26 May 2009 at 11:45 am.
Spokesperson Sgt. Andy Hill of the Phoenix Police Department spoke to the media and revealed that Exodus was just playing with cords. The machine was neither on nor was it running on a treadmill when the accident occurred.
