According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, the Steelers are receiving trade inquiries on pass rusher Melvin Ingram. Even though Ingram hasn’t necessarily impressed in Pittsburgh, teams are interested in adding to his experience at an affordable salary.
Another club must pay Ingram a proportionate portion of his $1.075MM base salary, as the Steelers have already paid their $2.925MM signing bonus. It’s unclear which teams called up the veteran, but the wrapsheet noted that the chiefs are looking for edge help.
