Ingram attended the University of South Carolina, where he played for coach Steve Spurrier’s South Carolina Gamecock football team from 2007 to 2011. He played linebacker for Gamecock before moving on to defensive end. In 2010, as a junior, he led the team with nine sacks.
Contract
The Pittsburgh Steelers needed massive help in the outside linebacker position. When you look at their depth chart, it took no talent knowing that they would be looking for someone who could help add proven depth to the position before the start of the 2021 regular season.

His quest for an upgrade over Teddy Bridgewater at quarterback is going to be a big deal, but a lot of other holes need to be filled before OTAs roll into a more different format as COVID-19 is rampant across the country.
One area where the Panthers may be looking for additional reinforcements is their front seven on defense. This youth group improved dramatically as the season progressed, but with the recent releases of Kavan Short, Woodrow Hamilton and Stephen Weatherly to free up some much-needed pay-cap space, more will be needed going forward.
