Melvin Gordon III (born April 13, 1993) is an American football running back for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football in Wisconsin, and was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft.

Who is agent
As he awaits his next opportunity, he has made a change of representation.
According to NFLPA records, Gordon retains Athlete First’s Brian Murphy and Joe Panos. Prior to this, Gordon was represented by Fletcher Smith and Damarius Bilbo.
After completing his rookie deal with the Chargers, Gordon signed a two-year, $16 million contract with the Broncos in 2020. The 2015 first-round pick took place in 2019, but eventually returned to the team.
A league source tells PFT that Gordon’s market is currently believed to be in the range of $2.5 million on a one-year deal.
It’s a reminder of what happens behind the NFL with age. Gordon, now seven seasons and over 6,100 rushing yards in his professional career, is slipping closer to minimum-wage status. He turns 29 later this month, and there’s a new crop of full-trade tailbacks in every draft class.

NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday night that Gordon is re-signing a one-year deal with the Broncos worth up to $5 million. The team announced the signing on Wednesday evening.
A two-time pro bowler during his time with the Chargers, the 29-year-old running back is now bound for his third season with the Broncos and his eighth season at AFC West.
As a one-two RB punch with Jevont Williams in 2021, Gordon produced 918 yards and eight touchdowns on 203 carries. He will have the opportunity to share backfield again with quarterback Russell Wilson, one of the latest additions to the Broncos and the biggest offseason acquisition for the franchise since Peyton Manning. Wilson and Gordon were teammates in college in Wisconsin for a year.
Gordon has lengthened four 900-yard rushing seasons in his career and has shown a nose for the end zone with at least eight rushing touchdowns in six straight seasons.
