Did win a superbowl

Matt Ryan: Did win a superbowl| Pass attempts| Super bowl win

Matt Ryan has not won any Super Bowls in his career.
His most successful season was in 2016 when he was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) and made a Super Bowl appearance in Super Bowl LI. Ryan also received four Pro Bowl selections and holds several franchise records with the Falcons, including passing yards, passing touchdowns, passer ratings, and wins. In the midst of a team rebuild, Ryan was traded to the Colts in 2022.

Pass attempts

Ryan set a new franchise single-game record with 448 passing yards, one of his finest performances as a pro. He completed 31 of his 43 attempts (72.1 percent) and had no interceptions or fouls to go with three touchdowns.

The all-time leader of the Falcons (2,124), quarterback wins (61) and passing yards (23,920), Ryan has the highest completion percentage among all signal-callers (63. Started more than three games for the team.

In terms of single-season franchise records, Ryan owns the top three campaigns for passing yards and four of the top six for touchdowns, including a team-record 32 touchdowns in 2012.

In order to win a playoff game, Ryan doesn’t need to do so to be considered the greatest quarterback in the largely hapless franchise history.

Of the quarterbacks who have started 20 or more regular-season games for the Falcons, only Ryan (61-34-0), Chris Chandler (34-33-0) and Michael Vick (38-28-1) have record wins. Huh. Bartkowski had a respectable 55–66–0 in the Falcons uniform, albeit with a 1–3 record in only three playoff appearances.

Super bowl win

Matt Ryan talks about learning from the ‘scars’ of the Falcons’ 28-3 Super Bowl collapse
“It’s one of those marks you accumulate throughout your life that is doomed if you don’t learn from it.”

Matt Ryan’s thoughts on Super Bowl LI: For former Boston College quarterback Matt Ryan, the memories left from Super Bowl LI in 2017 undoubtedly remain difficult.

After leading the Patriots 28-3 late in the third quarter, the Falcons famously collapsed. New England emerged with the first overtime victory in Super Bowl history, 34–28.

Given such a painful moment, Ryan was asked how he deals with it during a recent interview on “The Pat McPhee Show.”
