Arrested

Two days after Marshawn Lynch was arrested for driving under the influence after she ran behind the former Seahawks, Las Vegas Metro Police released body camera footage of a traffic stop on Thursday.

In the video, 36-year-old Lynch is seen speaking to police through the open door on the driver’s side of his car. When officers ask him to get out of the vehicle, Lynch refuses to comply, forcibly removing him from the car.

“The car isn’t on, the car isn’t going,” Lynch is heard telling an officer.

Lynch’s attorneys, David Chesnoff and Richard Schoenfeld, responded in a statement that Lynch’s car was “safely parked and not in operation” when police arrived early Tuesday and the charge of drunk driving would not stand.

“Marshan was not pulled over for a DUI,” the statement said. “We are confident that when all evidence is presented, it will not be a DUI under Nevada law.”

The arresting officer, Kevin Barker, reported that Lynch’s black 2020 Shelby GT500 was “undriveable”, with a missing front wheel and severely damaged rear driver’s side and front passenger wheels.

The arrest report said investigators found signs suggesting the vehicle “hit sidewalk areas” before stopping in an industrial section of downtown Las Vegas off Main Street.

“The driver was sleeping behind the wheel and the driver’s door was tilted backwards on the seat,” the report said, “with bloodshot, watery eyes and one shoe and one shoe off “

The arrest at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday came after the Seattle Seahawks—the team for which Lynch played most of its 12 NFL seasons—announced that Lynch had been hired as a broadcast special correspondent.

What team is on

Product on the field for the Seattle Seahawks will take a big step back this year. However, in the absence of Russell Wilson or any real hopes of winning a playoff game, the team will have some franchise stalwarts helping improve its off-the-field product this season.

In addition to fan favorites Michael Bennett and Michael Robinson joining the Precision broadcast team, Seattle says Marshawn Lynch will serve as “special correspondent” later this season and produce creative material on a variety of projects.

The Seahawks Announce the Broadcast Team for Their Preseason Games. The Seahawks also announced that later this season, Marshawn Lynch will also serve as a special correspondent for the team, where he will produce creative content for a variety of projects.

We can’t wait to see what the team has in store for Lynch. Suffice it to say that this appointment is a must see.
