Injury update
The Arizona Cardinals added receiver Robbie Anderson in a trade, but would lose the Marquis Brown wide.
NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reports that the Cardinals receiver suffered a non-surgical fracture in his leg in Sunday’s 19-9 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, according to sources informed about the situation. The recovery time for the injury is about six weeks. Brown is seeking a second opinion on the injury from Dr. Robert Anderson before proceeding.
Wideout is expected to land on injured reserve. Cardinals coach Cliff Kingsbury said on Monday that the Browns were out “indefinitely”.
Brown was hit in the fourth quarter on an intercepted deep hew from Kyler Murray. After the defeat, the receiver was seen in a walking boot.
Arizona acquired the first-round pick and the number 100 overall pick (defensive end Maijai Sanders) from Baltimore in a draft-day trade for the 23rd overall pick.
The injury is a major blow to the Cardinals. Brown has been the lone bright spot in the Cliff Kingsbury offense. He has scored 485 yards and three touchdowns from 43 catches. Hollywood fired at least 68 yards in each of the last five games, including a 140-yard blast in Week 3 against the Rams. Brown was on pace to break his career-high 1,008-yard mark last season.

Fantasy
According to Cliff Kingsbury, Marquis Brown will be out for at least a month with a foot injury. That timetable comes after getting a second opinion. The Cardinals couldn’t have had a better time than the return of DeAndre Hopkins. It looks like the Browns may be back by the end of November, barring any setbacks.
