He began his coaching career in the academy at Watford, before moving to Brentford in February 2011. He is the first Brentford manager in history to win his first six games in the position and led the club to promotion to the Championship in the 2013/14 season. Warburton began his career in football as a player for Leicester City and was one of the founders of the now-defunct NextGen Series.

“We have improved every season, we are in good shape but now we have to keep building.
There’s a very clear expectation going into my third season here that is testament to a strong end to last year for the players.
