Mark Allen (born 22 February 1986) is a Northern Irish professional snooker player from Antrim. He won the World Amateur Championship in 2004,[1] turned professional the following year, and took only three seasons to reach the top 16. In his fourth professional season, he defeated defending champion Ronnie O’Sullivan on his way to the semifinals. In the final of the 2009 World Championship, where he lost to eventual winner John Higgins.

Before Mark Allen met Kyla McGuigan, he was in a relationship with Rene Evans. Rene Evans is also a professional snooker who holds the title of World Women’s Snooker Champion. Mark and Rein were in a relationship since 2005 and had a daughter together in 2006. However, their relationship was short-lived, and the couple parted ways in 2008 after being together for 3 years. He has a daughter named Lauren with Rene Evans and she is currently 14 years old.
