In October 2015 she announced she would withdraw from competition and retired. David Lefèvre, Laurent Lefèvre, and Olivier Bonnaire, professional riders, are relatives of Rousse. Other than racing, Rousse has been featured on Eurosport and France Télévisions as a panellist. Since 2019, she has been deputy director of the Tour de la Provence as well. In the year 2021 she was appointed the race director of the Tour de France Femmes.
