Marcus Osmond Smart is an American professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association. He played college basketball for the Oklahoma State Cowboys before being drafted with the sixth overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft.

When there has not been a guard named to the award in 26 years, one winning the NBA’s 2022 Kia Defensive Player of the Year award is kind of a big deal.
So much so that the league went out of their way to have the last guard to win the DPOY award (Gary Payton Sr.) tell the award winner for the 2021-22 season (Boston Celtics veteran floor general Marcus Smart) he is to be so honored.
Well earned and well deserved, Smart saw a robust response from his teammates and coaches at Auerbach Center on Monday afternoon, but also had an equally large reaction to his accomplishment on social media.

At the NBA Draft Combine he was measured with shoes as 6 feet, 3.25 inches tall. For comparison, Wall measured an even 6’4″ in shoes while Harden came in at 6’5.25″. So he’s a full 2 inches shorter than Harden.
NBA teams generally list their players as 0.5 to 1.5 inches taller than their measured height in shoes, and shoes typically add 1-1.25 inches to their barefoot height. So, if you want to estimate a guy’s actual height from his listed height, you can work backwards accordingly.
How tall is:
Well LeBron James last barefoot measurement clocks in at 6’8.5 and Anthony Davis 6’9.75 so yeah. People say LeBron is at most 6’7 to sometimes 6’6.5 which is blatant false
This is LeBron with Paul George who is measured at 6’8 obviously 6’9.5 with his shoes on and in this picture since LeBron is 6’8.5 barefoot.
He would be around 6’10 with shoes on if you look closely try using your hand to block their head you’ll see LeBron is a nudge taller around .5 inches just like the measurement says
