When Musgraves left the game, he had only one reception for one yard. Musgrave’s role in this crime still requires speculative consideration. Jordan Love had the worst half of football as you can imagine. It was really frustrating for fantasy managers to see Musgraves’ backup, Deguara, catch two passes on the Packers’ final drive before the half.

If Musgraves enters the concussion protocol, he will almost certainly miss Week 5. Fantasy managers who were counting on him will need to look to the waiver wire for a streamer.

Out

Green Bay Packers tight end Luke Musgraves has been ruled out of the team’s Week 4 matchup against the Detroit Lions.

Musgraves left the game in the third quarter after suffering an injury and the team announced that he would not return because he was injured.

He had one catch for one yard in the contest. Musgraves had 11 catches for 124 yards in the first three games of the season and saw the most action of any tight end on the team. The only other catcher for the Packers in 2023 coming into Thursday’s game was Josiah Deguara.

The Packers selected Musgrave in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft after a collegiate career at Oregon State. The 6’6” tight end had 633 yards and two touchdowns in four collegiate seasons with the Beavers, but was limited to just two games his senior season due to a knee injury.

As Musgraves enters the concussion protocol, the Packers will look to Deguara, Tucker Craft and Ben Sims to move up on the depth chart. Thursday’s game means the team will get a little more rest before Week 5.

Update

The Green Bay Packers take on the Detroit Lions on Thursday in Week 4. Packers tight end Luke Musgraves is off the field and being evaluated for a concussion in the second quarter. While he has been sidelined to be checked out, backup tight end Josiah Deguara should take over as the top tight end. Tucker Craft may also see some additional playing time.

It’s been a tough night for the Packers, as they’ve been getting out early. At halftime they trailed 27-3. Green Bay’s offense is not getting going, as they have not sustained any drives. Wide receiver Romeo Dobbs has been the best pass-catcher, catching three of his five targets for 30 yards. Musgrave brought in one reception for one yard before leaving with an injury. Since his departure, Deguara has brought in two targets for 19 yards. Hopefully Musgraves can get back out there in the second half to try and help turn things around.

Injury

Musgraves left late in the second quarter of Thursday Night Football for injury evaluation. He went out at night with a reception for a yard. The rookie tight end has quickly emerged as a key target for Green Bay, coming in with 11 catches for 124 yards in the game.

Number
