Everyone thinks being a dart player is easy, it’s not. You have to put a lot of hard work in and for me, I thought losing a bit of weight and gaining a bit of extra stamina is going to be extra and it’s going to take me further,” said Humphries post match during the UK Open .
“Losing a bit of weight is a healthy life and a healthy mind. I feel really good, I feel full of energy. The hard work that I’ve putting in through lockdown is helping me in that aspect and hopefully it carries me through to being a better player in the future.”
