It started out as a shootout, but the Tide took control of the half to keep the Tigers at bay.

Crimson Tide QB Jalen Miller was spectacular, throwing for 219 yards and rushing 20 times for 155 yards. He set an Alabama quarterback record with four rushing touchdowns.

Much of his game matched that of Jayden Daniels. Alabama had few answers in the early going for LSU’s Heisman Trophy contender, who completed 15-25 passing for 219 yards with two touchdowns and added 163 yards and another touchdown on the ground. But Daniels was ejected from the game in the fourth quarter when he entered concussion protocol after a hit that led to a roughing the passer penalty.
