Lovie Lee Smith is an American football coach who is the head coach of the Houston Texans of the National Football League. From 2004–2020, he previously served as the head coach of the Chicago Bears and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as well as the Illinois Fighting Illini.

According to Cameron La Fontaine of KPNX 12, Mikal Smith is being held at Gilbert Chandler Jail on a $100,000 bond. His arraignment is scheduled for Sept. 10.
