LIV Golf is a professional golf tour. The name “LIV” refers to the Roman numeral for 54, the score for birdie on each hole on the par-72 course, and the number of holes played in a event. The first Invitational Series event took place on June 9, 2022. Originated at the Centurion Club near St Albans in Hertfordshire, UK. The invitational series became the LIV Golf League in 2023.
