Sir Lewis Carl Davidson Hamilton MBE Hon (born 7 January 1985) is a British racing driver. He currently competes in Formula One for Mercedes, which previously ran from 2007 to 2012 for McLaren. Knighted
Hamilton is the fourth F1 driver to be knighted after the late Australians Jack Brabham, Sterling Moss and Triple Champion Jackie Stewart and received the award while racing only.
