Out for the season
LeBron James has missed the last two Lakers matches with an ankle injury. According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, he intends to return tonight against the Pelicans.
He’s joking, isn’t he? After all, it is April Fool’s Day. It doesn’t look like that’s how he’ll present the news if it’s real.
On the off chance that he is serious: it would be disastrous for the Lakers, who have been ruled out of the postseason position, although Anthony Davis is nearing his return. It would also mean that LeBron – who leads the NBA with 30.13 points per game – would not qualify for the scoring title. He must play three more games to be eligible.
