Keep that energy tweet

LeBron’s tweet in which he indicated to keep the same energy when his team is playing well in the season is not good at all. The Lakers find themselves in the play-in spot and the road to the playoffs looks very tough for them as Anthony Davis is still injured.

This terrible season for the Lakers has overshadowed a great individual season for LeBron James. He is in his 19th year in the league and is playing as MVP. James has shown no signs of slowing down and the Lakers’ situation would have been very different had his teammates played the same way. And the Lakers will fight for the title as predicted at the start of the season.

Dance

But apparently, it’s not just league officials who noticed LeBron James’ dance moves—so did Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The Lakers icon, who started a news feature on his Substack, called out LeBron for his “stupid, childish dance” against the Pacers.

“LeBron was fined $15,000 for dancing the ‘Big Balls’ after the Lakers’ win last week. For me, winning is enough. Why do you have to dance stupid, childish and disrespect the other team on the court? It’s needed. It doesn’t make any sense. Goats don’t dance.”

While the comment about the goat not dancing appears to have been made in jest, as Karim flashed an image of real goats, his disapproval of King James’ move seemed very genuine.

Hits certainly keep coming for the Lakers star these past few weeks, as he has dealt with Isaiah Stewart kerfuffle as well as Anse Cantor callouts of late.

On-court affairs have also not been much better. The Lakers still stand on a 12-12 record after taking an L against their crosstown rivals the Los Angeles Clippers. It’s been a tough first quarter for LeBron James, but there’s still plenty of time for things to turn around.

Free agency

LeBron James became a Hollywood star last summer by starring in Space Jam 2. It was the most talked about film for months, and it cemented his legacy as an athlete of a generation.

However, after becoming a successful actor and winning the NBA Championship to the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020, James may be leaving Tinseltown soon. The 37-year-old isn’t getting any younger, and he’s running out of time to claim his fifth ring.
