Does have covid-19
The Los Angeles Lakers star player, who has been vaccinated, did not fit in Tuesday night’s game against the Sacramento Kings.
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has tested positive for COVID-19.
James did not play in Tuesday night’s game against the Sacramento Kings. As ESPN reports, the team learned that James was entering NBA health and safety protocols Tuesday morning.
“Obviously, it’s a huge loss,” Lakers coach Frank Vogel said in his pregame remarks on Tuesday. “It’s disappointing. We want the best for him right now. That’s where our thoughts are. And we have the next man up mindset.”
While Vogel did not respond to reporters’ questions about whether James was experiencing symptoms, his teammate Anthony Davis told the media, “He said he was doing well.”
Fans
During the game between the Indiana Pacers and the Los Angeles Lakers, there was a brawl at the end of the game between LeBron James and two fans sitting in the courtside seats. The “King” asked the referee and arena security to remove him to continue the game.
According to fans surrounding the couple, the woman LeBron was upset with began to insult her eldest son, Bronie James, with very sensitive topics, as they claim she constantly yelled at him, “Me Hope Bronie gets into a car accident tomorrow. And dies,” which fueled the player’s fury.
Tests Positive
According to ESPN, the NBA order requires any player who tests positive for the virus spend 10 days in isolation without any physical activity. After a period of isolation, the player must undergo cardiac screening and reconditioning to return to active play.
The Lakers star player told the media in September that he had been vaccinated against the virus, making his infection a successful case. “I know I was very skeptical about all of this,” he said in reference to vaccinations. “But after doing my research and doing things of that nature, I felt it was the best fit not only for me but for my family and my friends. And so I decided to do it.”
Decisive cases of COVID-19 are usually asymptomatic or mild. The vaccine helps prevent serious disease but does not completely prevent infection.
The latest blow is the third for James, who has missed several games due to injuries and a game due to suspension after an on-court clash with Detroit Pistons player Isaiah Stewart last month.
