Penalty:

After Daniel Ricciardo took his fourth power unit in Turkey, teammate Lando Norris guessed that his time to do the same was close. Of the eight Mercedes powered drivers on the grid, only Lando Norris and Lance Stroll are yet to take a fourth power unit this season.

Valterri Bottas has been hit the most with the engine penalties. He was currently on his sixth engine when only three were permitted last year. The 21-year old said, “It’s something that’s ongoing.”

Sim setup:

Lando Norris is having a very good performance in this strange F1 season. Accompanied by the good performance of the McLaren, he has shown that he can be as high as his still teammate Carlos Sainz. Both have an exceptional relationship and are one of the best couples in the F1 grid.

Norris use the SimRacing as a train tool, preferably iRacing from his time in Formula Renault and even before. I have shared a track with him when he was a complete stranger many times, and I can assure you that he has always maintained that casual air he shows now in the top category.

Norris was educated at Millfield School in Street, Somerset, leaving school without taking his GCSEs. He studied physics and mathematics with a full-time personal tutor. His family also moved to Glastonbury to allow him to become a day pupil, and to pursue his racing career, citing Valentino Rossi as an inspiration.

Helmet:

Norris had his debut in F1® at the start of 2019, driving for McLaren with whom he has already achieved some impressive drives, including having several points finishes and his first-ever podium at the 2020 Austrian Grand Prix.

Crash:

Lando Norris was involved in a ferocious crash in treacherous wet conditions during qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix on Saturday before admitting: “I’m just a bit bruised.”

The Briton lost control of his McLaren, his car spinning multiple times from one side of the track to the other after the rear end hit the barriers at Eau Rouge. The only one of his four tyres intact was the front left. “First of all, I’m doing good, but I’ve been better! I think just a bit bruised,” said Norris after being checked out in hospital.
