LaMelo LaFrance Ball is an American professional basketball player for the Charlotte Hornets of the National Basketball Association. He was selected by the Hornets with the third overall pick of the 2020 NBA draft.

Moving forward, the three brothers will be a part of JAY-Z’s sports management company, which is a subsidiary of Roc Nation. “This was a family decision,” LaMelo Ball’s manager Jermaine Jackson told ESPN. “This is now an extended family.

A leading candidate for Rookie of the Year, Ball had surgery to repair a broken wrist sustained on March 20. The point guard played 28 minutes and added eight rebounds and seven assists, including a nifty underhand pass from his own backcourt to Miles Bridges.
