Lamar Jackson is still sick. And it left its position for Sunday’s game against the Bears in question.
A day after being a full participant in practice, the Ravens quarterback was put back on an injury report and listed as a suspect with an illness. Jackson said on Friday that he was battling cold symptoms. He continued on Saturday, as NFL Network’s Stacy Dales reported that Jackson was not feeling well at the team’s morning walk-through due to illness that is not related to COVID.
According to Tom Pelicero of the Dales and NFL Network, the former MVP will travel to Chicago with the team and will continue to be monitored. Jackson’s new game designation may ultimately prove to be a precaution, as the Ravens would violate league rules if he was unable to play and was not listed in the final injury report.
Jackson did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday because of his illness, allowing second-year backup Tyler Huntley to claim all first-team reps. On Friday, Jackson said he felt “better” than he had earlier in the week and was full in practice.
The next 24 hours will be crucial in determining whether the superstar QB finally plays in Week 11. If Jackson is able to go, he won’t have his top goal at his disposal.
The Ravens announced later on Saturday that the Marquis Brown had been downgraded from Suspect. He was limited in practice on Friday after being sidelined for the past two days. 52 receptions of third-year wideouts, 719 receiving yards and six touchdown catches are all team highs.

The Ravens will also be without wide receiver Marquis Brown, cornerback Anthony Everett, cornerback Jimmy Smith, Cedric Ogbuhi, wide receiver Miles Boykin and defensive tackle Brandon Williams on Sunday.
