The Ravens officially deemed Lamar Jackson (ankle) inactive for Sunday’s game against Green Bay, meaning backup Tyler Huntley will take on QB1 honors.

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Saturday that Jackson’s status did not look positive. The star QB did not practice all week after suffering an ankle sprain early in Baltimore’s Week 14 loss to Cleveland.

Why isn’t playing tonight:

Once he got his feet under him, Huntley played well against the Browns in Jackson’s absence, completing 27 of 38 passes for 270 yards and one touchdown while also scrambling for 45 yards on six attempts. His greatest mistake was a fumble lost in the first half, but he nearly threw the Ravens to an unlikely comeback win.

The Baltimore Ravens saw star quarterback Lamar Jackson leave their Week 14 loss to the Cleveland Browns with an ankle injury. He was initially ruled as questionable to return to the contest, but ultimately was ruled out for the rest of the game around halftime.

Jackson didn’t practice all week leading up to Baltimore’s Week 15 matchup with the Green Bay Packers, and it’s currently unclear if he’ll play in the contest. However, on Saturday night Ian Rapoport of NFL Network put out a video from the “TNF First Look” pregame show that reported while the Ravens haven’t ruled Jackson out yet, it’s looking like Tyler Huntley will be the starter for the team against Green Bay.
