What did say to steve nash
Irving said on Saturday he embraced all religions and defended his right to post whatever he believed in.
“I’m not going to stand on anything I believe in,” Irving said. “I’m only going to get stronger because I’m not alone. There’s a whole army around me.”
Nets coach Steve Nash said Monday that he sees the case “as an opportunity for us to develop and understand a new perspective.”
“I think the organization is trying to take that stance or they can communicate through it, and trying to come out with a better position and more understanding and more empathy for each side of this debate and situation. Can,” Nash said.
Irving has previously supported the idea of the Earth being flat, recently sharing an old clip from conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, and was unavailable for most of the Nets’ home games last season because he was vaccinated against COVID-19. was refused, as was mandatory in New York City.
The Nets refused him a contract extension this summer, meaning Irving could be in his final season with the team.
Antisemitic video
Kyrie Irving apologized on Twitter Thursday for posting a documentary brimming with anti-Semitic conspiracy theories and lies, hours after the Brooklyn Nets suspended five games without pay.
The apology published on Instagram comes more than a week after the Nets star posted the offensive tweet, which has since been deleted.
Irving acknowledged the video “contained certain false anti-Semitic statements, narratives and language that were untrue and offensive to the Jewish race/religion.” He apologized directly to the Jewish community, although he indicated that there were parts of the documentary that he still agreed with.
While researching YHWH, I posted a documentary that contained certain false anti-Semitic statements, statements, and language that were untrue and offensive to the Jewish race/religion, and I take full accountability and responsibility for my actions. I am grateful for being a great platform for knowledge sharing and I look forward to having an open dialogue to learn and grow more from it.
To all the Jewish families and communities hurt and affected by my post, I am deeply sorry for causing you pain, and I do apologize. I initially reacted out of emotion for being unjustly anti-Semitic, rather than focusing on the healing process of my Jewish brothers and sisters who were hurt by the hateful comments made in the documentary. I would like to clear any confusion that I am fighting against anti-Semitism by apologizing for posting the documentary without context and a factual explanation outlining the specific beliefs in that documentary that I agree and disagree with . I had no intention of disrespecting any Jewish cultural history or perpetuating any hatred regarding the Holocaust. I am learning from this unfortunate incident and hope that we can find understanding amongst all of us. I am no different from any other human being. I am a seeker of truth and knowledge, and I know who I am.
