Gatorade
Klay Thompson is making money off that endorsement. A Body Armor sports drink spokesperson has always made it a point to hide bottles of Gatorade at post-game press conferences, but now he’s getting a little more violent.
Thompson wasn’t messing around after the Warriors’ 110-95 win over the Pelicans on Saturday night.
Thompson also let out an intimidating grunt after owning that bottle. That means business, Gatorade.
Impersonator
People do whatever it takes to dominate YouTube these days. Dawson Gurley (best known for his YouTube channel BigDawsTV) rose to fame in 2017 for his uncanny resemblance to Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson. He became popular among NBA fans as “Fat Kale”. However, fans will likely never see the impersonator in the Dubs home games again.
Ahead of Game 5 of the Warriors Final Series against the Boston Celtics, Gurley tweeted that he had been banned from the Chase Center. The YouTuber would then tweet the letter given to him regarding his ban. Take a look for yourself and see if he deserves the ban.
Is a hall of famer
Kel deserves every penny of the max expansion he just signed and should be a “warrior for life” without hesitation. He must retire his jersey, hitting a double zero in the last game of his long career.
In the end, the Warriors brass should be commended for sticking the landing in their pick with the 11th pick of the 2011 NBA Draft. Many of those teams looked drunk for some of those teams whose names were called before them. In addition to getting a future All-Star in Kale, the Warriors found the perfect piece to complement their new face of the franchise: Steph Curry.
Personally, I like kale. I think his demeanor is refreshing to see in an NBA full of ‘only’ people. He moves to the beat of his own drum and ‘zig’ while many of his companions ‘zag’.
