Kirk Minihane is an American radio personality and presenter working for WEEI. He is the controversial co-host of WEEI’s No.1-ranked “Kirk Callahan” show.
He is best known for his work on filling in and hosting the show Kirk Callahan for Entercom Sports, a WEEI team. In between his major career, Minihane often makes headlines for his outspoken and controversial issues which not only brought him fame but huge wealth as well. Well, Minihane is a married man, but when it comes to his wife or kids, he tends to be shy, unlike his radio career.

His age 44, has had a very tough time in recent years. He lost both his parents to cancer last year. His father lost the battle with multiple myeloma, and his mother had to battle pancreatic cancer.
Perhaps the greatest tragedy that can happen to a son is that he loses his parents one after the other in a very short span of time. He was very close to her and it was very difficult for her to bear this pain.

Kirk Minihane of Barstool Sports is taking some time off from the company to focus on his mental health. Minihane took time off for the same issue last year, and Barstool is giving her the space to focus on the issues again.
“I am going to take time off as I struggle with depression, suicidal thoughts, paranoia and anxiety,” Minihane tweeted on Thursday. “I’ve had this bottled up for weeks and it’s such a mistake. I can’t thank Dave and Erica enough for their support, means a lot. And if you’re struggling, get help. Anyone Talk to me.”
The media personality hosts the Kirk Minihane Show podcast on Barstool’s podcast network and previously worked on Morning Drive with Gerry Callahan at WEEI. According to Minihane, the station’s reluctance to be flexible with his struggles prompted him to leave Kirk.
