Khamzat Girikhanov (born 1 May 1994), also known as Khamzat Chimaev, is a Swedish professional mixed martial artist and freestyle wrestler who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s welterweight division (UFC).
He previously competed in the Brave Combat Federation.
Chimaev is a three-time Swedish National champion in wrestling.
He is currently ranked third in the UFC welterweight rankings as of April 12, 2022.

At Friday’s official weigh-ins, the top-ranked welterweight contender came in well over the 170-pound limit (including one-pound allowance), tipping the scales at 178.5 pounds, forcing him out of his main event bout with Nate Diaz and causing a rescheduling of the top-three fights on Saturday’s card.
Diaz will now face Tony Ferguson in the main event, while Chimaev will face Kevin Holland in the co-main event.
