After ducking a punch to shoot for a takedown, Chimaev picked Jingliang up and walked him over to the cage where he yelled at UFC president Dana White, who was seated cageside, before slamming his opponent to the ground so that got just as much attention as his in-cage demolition.

Khamzat Chimaev has had less than 10 professional fights and only three fights in the UFC but he is already a fan-favourite. Khamjat has a 9-0-0 record in his career and these are all finishes. Khamzat made his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 172. In his UFC career, he fought two fights in two different weight classes in a span of 10 days and eliminated both his opponents. Nothing screams “natural born killer” more than that. The Chechnya fighter has a very badass look with a scar on his lip.

Many fighters have come to Chimaev for his look, but how did the mark on the fighter’s lips? In an old interview for the Borz Channel on YouTube, the fighter was seen raving about his mark. “My mom told me this, but I can’t remember myself. I was 2 years old. We had big stairs in our house and I fell on concrete. I had cracked lips, my couple had lost teeth and my The nose was broken. My right nostril still can’t breathe,” said Chimaev in the video

According to Michael Bisping, Khamzat Chimayev should fight at 170 pounds because he is not good enough for the middleweight division.

While Bisping admitted that it would be exciting to see a matchup between Chimaev and Rockhold, he also believes it was not meant to be.

In a recent episode of his podcast ‘Believe You Me’, Michael Bisping told co-host Luis J. Gomez:

“Khamzat (Chimaev) and Luke Rockhold. It doesn’t make sense anyway. I mean listen, will I watch it? Yeah. Would it be fun? But for Khamzat (Chimaev), they fought at middleweight, though middleweight and 170. He should be at 170. He’s a big welterweight at 170 but I think he’s a little too short for middle.”
