Career earnings

Kevin Na couldn’t fully track down Bubba Watson during the final round of the 2018 Genesis Open, but his T-2 was his best PGA Tour finish in more than two years and his ninth career runner-up. More impressive — and perhaps, unsurprisingly — the $663,600 Czech Na took home from Rivera and propelled her past the $25 million mark in lifetime PGA Tour earnings. A career isn’t too shabby for someone with a win. Yes, it’s a win and of course over $25 million in earnings. Talk about getting a lot of bang for your buck. Or, in this case a buck for your bang.

It got us wondering if there were other names on the PGA Tour career earning list that would cause a similar reaction — and of course, the answer was yes. In an era where average winnings make over $1 million, there are plenty of tour pros—from stars to travellers—who have amassed small fortunes playing golf (thanks, Tiger). Here are some of the most surprising, not in order of how unpredictable their totals are, but how much they’ve earned.
