Kevin Durant is one of the most popular athletes in the world. While he has gained most of his fans by playing basketball at the elite level, there are other contributing factors to his popularity.

For starters, the Brooklyn Nets superstar is quite active on Twitter. He uses his Twitter account for a variety of reasons, from talking to fans to posting memes now.

Recently, a picture from KD’s MySpace profile surfaced on Twitter. Of course, it went viral almost immediately and fans all over the world reacted to it. One has to wonder if Durant would be offended by this.

No, it didn’t happen. Instead, The Slim Reaper reacted to that profile via another popular meme. He tweeted:

“Me and my cousin Tia are coding it in 03.”

Of course, that hilarious profile description predates Durant’s creation by the pros. So it certainly wouldn’t have seemed even a little embarrassing to her. Well, if he had posted something like this in this day and age it would have been a different story.

Anyway, we hope Durant never changes and keeps posting amazing memes on his social media handles to keep the fans entertained.

The change we would expect, and of course Durant, is the position of the Nets in the Eastern Conference table. With the 2021-22 regular season almost over, the franchise is yet to book a spot in the post season.

Although they are on the 8th seed with a record of 40-36, there is still a lot of uncertainty about where the Nets will end up when the regular season ends.

In addition, if they finish below the sixth seed, they must compete in a play-in tournament before achieving a certain place in the playoffs. Can Kevin Durant take the Nets this season and beyond? We’ll find out soon.

Kevin Durant has been listed at 6-foot-9 since his arrival in the league.

Kevin Durant is not 6-9. He’s nowhere close to 6-9. He is not 6-9 without shoes, he is not 6-9 when he bends, he is not 6-9 under any circumstances. Whenever Durant stands next to players 6-10 or 6-11, you always notice “Hey, 6-9 Kevin Durant is taller than the guy who’s taller than 6-9.” It’s the worst kept secret but it’s been withheld forever. Durant wanted to appear 6-9 for whatever reason, so his teams held it.

Here is a list of the official Warriors site. But now, finally, after nearly 10 years of continuing this lie of Durant, we can get over it.

The man is seven feet in shoes.

After the Portland Trail Blazers won the first overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft on lottery night, the two prospects under debate were Greg Oden and Kevin Durant. The debate was considered a “win-win” throughout the basketball world. Greg Oden was one of the most influential big-man prospects in college basketball a year ago. Odeon offered for a franchise to be a game-changing presence on both sides of the floor. On the other side of the table was Kevin Durant, well ahead of the University of Texas, who offered interesting offensive reversals with his shooting ability.

This is usually something that we as basketball fans go back and forth during the pre-draft process. We spend countless hours watching old game movies to find out what the team with the first overall pick should do on draft night. The Portland Trail Blazers would go on to invest their future in the big man, choosing Greg Oden as the first overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft. At the time, it was widely believed that both Oden and Durant were “slam dunk” selections. Oden was considered a major big man, averaging 15.7 points, 9.6 rebounds and 3.3 blocks per game while playing with Mike Connelly Jr. at Ohio State. Choosing another, the then Seattle SuperSonics would “settle” for Kevin. Durant with his selection.
